hi my car seems to make a rather sluggish noise when accelarating when i have less than half a tank of petrol.

its an 899 l reg i can not imagine what it could be
its not serious cause that car runs and runs and runs but its rather annoying any suggestions

When did you last change your fuel filter??

My sportings been funny since i bought it,i`ve changed everything including fuel filter,yesterday i toolk out the fuel pump and cleaned out the gauze filter on the bottom of the pump,But with the pump out i noticed how shallow the petrol tank is so i`m wondering if driving the car hard round corners etc with low fuel, sloshes the fuel away from the pump intake?allowing the pump to suck vapours for a split second.

January '04 I think. Rob, you should have a recipt from WCN for that . I had that done the day the clutch went (was just coming home when it went...).

its happens mainly in first and second gear. when you start moving off in first and when you change up to second. in third gear its there but not as noticeable and in the fourth its not

could it be me changing up gears too soon or too late i do run the gears to a high speed 15 for first 25 for second

quite high for a 900 i think it's just before the kinda roaring noise when i change up

but whys it doing it only when i have half a tank of petrol i don't get it
