Hi,

There is a thread in the panda section about someone fitting one of these engine complete with ecu and fly by wire etc to a panda, which is close enough to a cento!

I think his user name was lewsey or something like that? Anyway its the 1.4 16v panda thread.

Looked like a lot of work tho. Personally I would use a det 3 piggyback on your spi ecu and use that to map the engine. Last time I checked it was 125.00. See honeymonsters thread for more info.

Its what I will prob do when I do a 16v conversion! Though the ecu in my seicento is prone to failing. :-(
 
So i got the engine out of the cinq very sore hands after taking the loom etc out there was a box i didnt seem to reconis its mounted just behind the slam panel opposite side to radiatior blue pipes going into it...i shall look into the panda thread :) an see what i have coming my way if its beyond my amateur skills il go the route of mk1 gear i have a friend who builds countach replicas and is a genius when it comes to conversions (check my newbie thread you can see it in the garage x
 
looks like an interesting thread , just pm'd him for more info about fbw , until monday now where il be getting all the stuff out the punto , will it involve taking the dash out? to get access to the loom i need or is it like the cinq , where it is connected at a d4 like style?
