Quick question.

I gotta wire a couple of things into the ignition. So just for ease lets say its the headunit.
Can I just tap into the windows live wire, and crimp em together?

If its a stereo/secret piece of ICE that you don't want to say what it is then it might be easier and safer to run a new fused power cable from the battery

I got the power sorted, I gotta run it thru ignition tho, and while i was at it, i thought i may as weel do the stereo at the same time. sick of having to turn it off lol.

The "items" i want to run are already fused so that shouldnt be an issue.hehe

Of the 2 connector blocks on the ignition barrel, don't use the block with the thick brown and thick red wire. that block is for ignition ONLY! Balls that one up and your gonna be in big bills!

Use the block with the 4 connectors on it. you'll need to crimp a feed from the yellow/orange cable. the block should have a formation like:

### You need the connector marked red to take a safe feed from.

so is that an easy job to do. I wanna run my stereo through the ignition and another item
It has a permanent live wire, but also another wire for the ignition. it isnt required, but would stop battery flattening.

Yup this will sort it. Use a scotch-lock connector similar to http://www.maplin.co.uk/products/module.asp?CartID=030911231309938&moduleno=1073&Products=2. Easy to fit and all that is needed is a pair of Pliers. Sorted![8D]
