General Seicento seat release handle

Hi Folks,

My Sei MPi seats are out of the car at the moment, the release handle on the side of the driver's seat appears loose / slack.

Wondered if it is possible to re-tension the seat release cable - can someone advise?

Hi sounds like something has become detached or loose.
The cable is put under very little stress so won't stretch much, are you sure it's returning back all the way?

new one on me tbh.. If it were me i'd be off to scrappies just so i could mutilate a seat to have a look inside and see how it works before damaging my own nice seats...
Just an idea.
