Hi all, I've owned my seicento sporting since june and about 2 months after i got it all the lights (dash lights, headlamps, tail-lights) all flicker when the engine is running, but not when the engine is off. My best guess is that the altenator is on its way out. Anyone any ideas? Pleaaase?

Could be the alternator regulator.

Where is the altenator regulator? and is it cheap enough a part to get hold of?

Clean up all the Earthing points for the engine/gearbox ,

I'd try #4 first -- physically remove the earths, scratch well clean, coat with vaseline, tighten up. If that doesn't do it, put a multimeter on voltage setting accross the battery terminals with the engine running -- the output should be reasonably steady,

Regulator is built into alternator. Rebuild is possible at a specialist, or get an exchange jobbie.
