 Over the last few weeks I have noticed my gear stick feeling abit lame i.e. its not solid if you just push it abit without any force it kind of wobbles about left to right when in neutral, and if you push it over to the left it wont return to the middle it just sits where you pushed it to and you have to liturally move it back into the middle yourself

Now there is no problem going into any gears its still a smooth gear change... yet the stick feels really lose!

Any ideas?

Thanks

Adam

dunno why but im pretty sure its just the return spring that needs replacing, as its not effecting the gears :D

shouldnt be that bad if its that (y)

Don't know whether this helps or not but I've just sorted my Dad's cinqy's wavy gear lever by tightening the bolt on the gear linkage, it's the one nearest the air filter.
