Hi guys !

After 3 years of really great fun, I finnaly sold my Fiat Barchetta. I'm in the process of buying something a bit bigger (Evo, rx7, Supra...) but I would like to stay in the Fiat familly, and I also need a little car for my appartement in the center of Paris in France. So, i'm looking either for a seicento or a cinquecento, in very good condition, low miles, sport edition, modified or original, and in LHD.

Also, if you guys could tell me if there is any prob I should look out before buying one ?

I never even had a drive in one, but I juste want a cheap little city car, that I can mess about with, and they seem just good !

Thanks !(y)

I prefer the Cinq Sporting to the Sei. For reasons I can't put my finger on, they have a little more je ne sais qua. They're very easy cars to work on, spares are cheap. The Cinqs also are not burdened by ABS, power steering or the taint of Michael Schumacher.

Mechanical bits are cheap and easy. Points to be especially wary of are rust in the rear wheelarches (generally right at the back -- which can extend through to the rear seat belt mounts and even to the mounts for the rear cross beam).

If you fancy a holiday in Poland, well, that's where many of the best Cinqs are (it's the car's birthplace, after all, and spiritual home).

Thanks a lot for the answer !

I like the cinquecento a bit more to... Think it's the shape i prefere, but I drove a fiat panda a couple of weeks ago, and didn't really like it. As thay have same motor and inside dash... ABS and power stering is important no ? Never had a car without...

Poland is not soooo far, could go for a road trip and come back with one haha

Thanks for the tips !
