Re: Price for the hoses you need for you custom GSR (SFS HOSES)

by the looks of it you be paying same sort of price as a gsr kit, which has proven performance increase

yeh i know i am gutted i think i'll invest in a gsr butttt i thnk 40mm tb next for me :D YEYEY! see how my finances work out after this respray! lol

If I had known the price of the custom kit I would have bought a GSR!

Reducing Elbow and clips cost £37

Then

Hose joiner and straight reducer cost £32

and after this a filter at £32, I got a plenum, bob call it what you like for free though.

exactly. Not much difference in price yet a massive difference in performance due to the fact you have so many joins. I guess if you just want the looks in your engine bay then get the fake gsr one but im sure any proper enthusiasts will understand and get the GSR one

:yeahthat:
It seems that not many people on here actually understand the reasoning behind the design of the GSR induction kit - It was designed that way for maximum performance - and as has been said before - why spend X amount making your own "induction kit" when for the cost of a full tank more you get a specifically designed one

PS: Can a mod change the title of this thread from "GSR" to "Induction Kit" - I'm sure Paul could explain the various copyright reasons involved ;) - as you clearly cannot make a "custom GSR" - It's being picky I know but I've seen less cause arguments on here :D

There isn't too many joins on mine but the GSR is a one piece affair.

Only plus of mine is the shielded filter.
