The transformation is now complete! :) At the beginning of any project we set ourselves some goals, well… I managed to tick all the ones I’ve set in terms of appearance and performance :) The car got a bigger set of wheels, upgrade breaks, stiffer lowered suspension, engine braces, s/s sports cat and exhaust system, performance air filter, tinted windows, new carpet and 2003 Seicento Sporting seats (front and back), upgraded audio system, removable steering wheel and a selection of Ferrari badges (front: 348TB, sides: F355 Spider, back: 612 Scaglietti, horn: F40/308/328) as a tribute to one of my favourite car manufacturers. Also had a custom scale down stripe from a 360 Challenge Stradale specially made, some love it and some hate it, personally I think it adds character.

I gave it a good clean and took some photos, enjoy :)

Those mpi seat are so much higher up than the standard sporting seat :(... I shouldn't be saying that as i need to get rid a set!!!

But the yellow on the car looks amazing! I wish mine looked like that lol

Cool - also loving the Dash detail! - Stripe is not bad at all, I recognised the Challenge Stradale scheme when I saw it at Retro Rides Gathering - the only cinq I believe?

Was going to take mine but it failed MOT so I took the Punto 188 with some alfa rims instead. See it? I left it in the camping field as I felt ashamed taking a 2002 punto! ;)

Unusual to see such a tidy earlier car with the abarth kit.

Thanks guys, glad you like it, took me over five years to complete the overhull from poly bushes to fancy wiper blades :D that dash detail took ages to mask and then shoot 2x PVC base 4x grey primer and 3x broom yellow :D

When the Challenge Stradale stripe was being applied I took the roof aerial off and seen how faded the paint really is!!! Shock to the system, but with an extreme amount of car cosmetics at leas I could make it shine :)

Sorry purf, missed your Punto, Retro Rides is always a fun day out, I got there a bit late but still got a fantastic parking spot :D I looked hard but also couldn't spot another Cinq. Perhaps see yours there next year.

hehe can't afford a real Ferrari so a small tribute car is about as close as I can get :D Unless you got 40k for a Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari :D

You prob have more fun in a cinq than you would in a Ferrari! Just imagine the fuel consumption! :)

I wouldn't mind a road legal one of these tho:

Recognise the engine note?

holy thread revival! good to meet you at last buddy,so everyone knows he is very local to me! so expect another yellow cinq at some shows to come hopefully (y)
