Anyone got any ideas on what the hot water feed actually does on the 899cc 1995 cinquecento carb? Thanks guys,

First off its a throttle body not a carb, the 704cc (not produced in the uk) have a carb.

Its just there to help keep the throttle body warm in very cold climates and stops the butterfly/spindle icing sticking open.

its the good old gas laws at work, and in a damp environment the drop in temp can lead to icing.

aahhh right,so is it possible that I could block the feed off and run the car like it?,the reason I ask is because it going to be a while be4 I get a replacement hose and I can't get silicone hose anywhere where I live,I only want to drive it for a couple of weeks, cheers mate
