Wonder if any one can point out what might have worn or can help ? Also would this fit or be good for my seicento sporting 2000 plate

In the first instance it's worth taking the caliper off and winding the piston in... then making sure that the pads are not jamming in their slots.

You should clean the slots out and then re-grease them very lightly with some copper grease. It sometimes helps to file any rust off the heels of the pad backing plates where they fit into the slots. Rust and gunge sometimes jams them a bit.

If everything is moving freely and you still have a problem (or the disk gets really hot after you've been driving along) then it's more likely to be the flexi-hose to the caliper. The inner lining sometimes starts to break up and that causes a blockage that acts like a valve.

The only option is to change the hose.. but it's probably less than £20 for a new hose and some brake fluid. You will need to bleed that caliper ... so you may as well replace both hoses (the other one won't be much better nick) and then bleed all 4 brakes while you're at it.
