I just painted my new rear spoiler with acrylic paint and now i don't know if i need a clear coat or not?
Is there anyone who knows the answer.

If it's a metallic it'll need a clear coat.

If not, there's no point, although it'll probably benifit from careful compounding and polish after the paint has cured fully.

I know its an old thread but the truth depends if its clear over base metallic or solid colour. base coat dries Matt and requires clear coat whether its a solid colour or metallic.

If its a 2k direct gloss then no solid or metallic although you don't tend to get metallic solid colours much anymore
