Hello,

I recently got a Seicento sporting 2001 model and it's great!

I have one question about the radiator fan. Currently it's stiff to turn by hand, but it does turn. Is this normal? I don't think I've got the engine hot enough yet to check that the fan actually works.

Any advice?!

The fan should come on if you leave the car stationary ticking over for about 10mins as there is no air flow through the radiator.

The fan should not be stiff, it should spin freely by hand and should switch on plenty this time of year.

Ok, I'll test it tomorrow. It does turn but if i went to spin it, it would just stop. Thinking maybe something is stuck in the fan like a bag.

Sorry for the late reply.

I've had a look at the fuses behind the battery, and I can see that the 30amp fan fuse has indeed blown.

Next step is to try and remove the fan.. Any guide to show how this is possible?!
