Hi there,

I see that there are 2 types of chips offered on the forum,
one is the remap chip from gazzaman and the other is the performance chip from mckcrich. Is there anybody who has experience with both of them an can give me advice on which one to buy. The car i'm planning to put it in is a cinq with 36 mm TB with a 866 cam and a uno plenum with a 4 in 2 in 1 manifold an an open airfilter.

I'm not sure that either are still available. McCritch is incomunicado, gazzaman2k has, I think, moved to Canada. You might try PM ing them.

There are/were some Israeli chips, too.

I got an Israeli chip ... it takes forever to start ... think mine is faulty lol..

I had the same problem but with the gazzaman chip

I had an israeli chip2race and it was perfect and made one hell of a difference to my old cinq id recommend them to anyone after my own experience :yum:

If you're lucky, the original chip is a clip in type. Failing that, you need to se-solder it.
