So after reading the thread here...

https://www.fiatforum.com/cinquecento-seicento/295427-part-p60-conversion-full-conversion.html

I thought I would ask what people think of my engine mods I have desided to do and what kinda gains should I be looking at? inc bhp and torque :)

The plan was to fit a P60 engine and later on do a turbo conversion but I have put the turbo conversion to one side because of I don't really know too much on what I would be doing and what I need and also so I can still spend money on my weekend car :)

So I will be fitting a all singing and dancing head, polished, ported....the full works basically.
A 866cam that I have located already :)
A larger tb, this I am still looking for, would love a kicker 40mm tb but they are impossible to find so looking for a P60 tb as that's a little bigger from what I understand.
A GSR intake when I find one or my own made intake pipe with a BMC CDA that I have sitting around.
A full manifold exhaust system to make use of the extra breathing and the cam ;)
And a gazzman chip :)

I am working on finding some Punto GT brakes but I would still love to keep 13s so also looking into if it's possible to upgrade the discs and pads and if they would be sufficent in stopping me :) and I have some PI suspension bits on there was to me :)

I would love to keep her looking standard but I hate added weight or excess weight so I might be tempted to strip out her seats and fit buckets and a harness and to tint the rear windows to smoke but NOT black tints :)

So all in all how does that sound for making the Cinq a bit more involving, giving her more poke and to basically make her more of a 'Sporting' car than in just name :)

Edit - Also I was just wondering, I fitted a nice lightened flywheel to my old Alfa Romeo 145QV as I they are known to love that mod so would the Cinq benefit from a lightened flywheel at all guys?

251019163744 and then there is this one on just a buy it now if u cant be bothered to wait for bidding to end and u will also need the spacer plate under the tb which needs to be machined down from 40mm high to 20mm high.dont know if the 1 on auction is complete? but you will need a complete tb etc so u have everything in 1 hit:D:D:D:D A Tricker tb is 40mm and the p75 is 38mm so its as near as u will get unless someone is going to be kind and sell you one??? as they dont come round that often.i had the p75 set up on my first 1242 8v conversion and it makes a MASSIVE difference all thru the rev range

Just a small tip, the punto GT brakes are rather rare, but they are fitted on certain other fiat/alfa models, i got a set of them off an alfa 155 for thirty euros.

As for other mods, i havent seen any mention of a strut-brace, that might be worth looking for. I've also seen a rear x brace which is mounted between the rear seat points, if you are stripping out the rear seats, the car loses a slight bit of rigidity, which an x brace might fix.

Another mod would be tires, even if you want to stay with 13 inch rims, it might be worth going to 175/50 tires for slightly better grip.
