Hey all,

My car: Seicento Sporting (1999) 1108 SPI

I've just got a new front pipe fitted to my car, and it needs a new lambda. The mechanic put one in from a crash damaged 02 reg car (the MPI version) with low mileage etc... just took it for the MOT and its failed on emmission (c/o and lambda). The guy didn't give me a printout, but it said 'too high' on all 3 numbers on the screen.

So basically i'm wondering if the Lambda sensors are compatiable or not?

If they're compatiable, has anyone else got an idea what the prob is? I'm running with a pipercross induction kit, but it passed last years test with that on?

Dave,

Eper (the Fiat Parts system) lists two separate parts fro the SPI (46449401) and MPI (46760687). So I would guess that they are not compatible.

Mine failed on Co too... I bought a new cat & midsection jobs a goodn.. I happen to own a Co tester - read out should be 0.35% for Sporting - ps when changing the cat i wrapped the lambada in bubblewrap & zip tied it out of the way - they are delicate..
