Hey People,

I have been a bit busy recently, thought I would show everyone what I have been up to. Since I got the car last year I have known that I will have to replace the Tyres and Front Brakes. I finally got round to it. When I was removing the alloys for the tyres to be fitted I discovered that the paint on the alloys was in bad shape, so I decided to get them refurbished and then have the tyres fitted to them.

Yesterday Brian and I (Dj_bucho) decided that it was time to tackle my front brakes. The calipers have been fully striped down, shot blasted, powder coated red and had new seals fitted them. We also put new Goodridge Stainless Steel Brake lines, EBC Pads, Grooved and Drilled Discs.

I must say I am really really pleased with them. Just in time for the MOT at the end of the month.

Take a look at the following link for photos.

Thanks

David

Nah, Cinq Brakes. I only have 13inch rims so can not fit any bigger brakes on.

How you do that?

Just becareful for about the first 300miles or so, try and brake long and slow instead of short and hard.

Once I have done about 500miles or so on them then I am going to bleed them again.

Hey Dave,

Got the right size tyres on one half @ least!

Alloys have grown on me and they tidy up well after the refurb.

Good work on the brakes too.
