Hi Guys
I know there's a sticky on this one , but I've just converted my Cinq by another method , NOT by changing wiper motors.
If you look at the Cinq wiper motor , you'll find a crank that connects the motor to the long shaft that goes to the centre wiper arm.
That crank has 36.5 stamped on it , which is the measurement in mm between the 2 centres.
I cut that in half and welded it back together with the centres 49mm apart .
I retained the stock passenger side arm & blade (which needs re-positioning on it's spindle) & just removed & binned the drivers side arm & blade .
I had to trim the heater plastic water shield a bit , but it works fine & cost virtually nothing (provided you have access to welding equipment)
The beauty of this system is that you can set the wiper to park in the vertical position , just by varying the position of the crank on the wiper motor.
Hope this helps
John
