Technical Cinquecento Sporting Imobilizer

Hi Im sure its here somewhere as I have read it once but cant find it!
So

My Wifes Cinq, the imobilizer sometimes wont turn off, take the key out put it back it works, I have read somewhere that there a replacement chip available that removes the imob code and allegedly increases performance.

Does any one know what im talking about or where i can get one

We have done the reset with the red key, just a note its random when it does it, sometimes its weeks before it plays up

PM gazzaman2k -- he does chips and is a moderator on this esteemed forum.

Having said that, using the red key all the time can cause this kind of issue, apparently.

we only used the red key to reset the system and blue keys

Only attached to a car which I can't get to at the moment -- I'm between moving garages at the moment, nothing is easy to get to!
