As I did'nt find a topic related to my problem I started a new one.

My car is a standard Seicento 1108 with a 38mm throttlebody and a Novitec exhaust (1 pipe left and right).
Now on the higher speeds / rpms and while accelerating the car produces a low noise.
BUt to loud in my opinion.
As the car is going to be turbo'd it will the better with the turbo on as that takes away a lot of noise.
But in the meanwhile I have to fix this.

Is there a way to soundproof the car?

I read I can soundrpoof the boot + wheelarches to silence the exhasut sounds.

But what material to use?
I found some special stuff but also read about stuf you put underneath the floor of a house.

Also how to soundproof against engine noise?

I hope some people here have done this before.

any pictures of your exhaust system , i had a novitec "one on each side" system that was modefied to fit on my old cinq 75 and never saw anything simular :)

I already use earplugs but that makes your ears very sensitiva afterwards.
So not the best option.

I do not have a pictue but the other cinq novitec exhaust has the same design.
The marked area is a pre/silencer.
I do hear something it it when I toss it around, I don't think it should do that haha.

But were to get a replacement. There not made anymore.

No the part I need is custom build I think.

Last night I was out for a spin to keep the battery charged and noticed that engine noise is worse the the exhaust.

So is there something that I can do about that?

nice your the only other person iv seen with one, i found the one i had fitted to my old cinq a lilltle bit too noisy, but i did have it mated to a punto 75 manifold and it had been modefied to fit a cinq as they are made for the sei
