I finally got car through the MOT and first time we filled it up at the petrol station it leaked out everywhere. On inspection it is coming out of the filler pipe where it goes onto the tank. We fitted the SPI tank (even though it needed a MPI one) as we were told there wasn't really a major difference apart from the price. So put the pipe on the tank and put on a new jubilee clip and tightened it up. Any ideas what we've done wrong it wasn't leaking before from the hose and we've had it off today to look for any holes and splits and there weren't any. Thanks in advance

The rubber on the inside of the pipe a greenish colour? If yes we have that on. It wasn't tight to put onto the tank assumed the jubilee clip would clamp it.

When mine had a weep around the filler seal I used "Hermetite Red" (now rebranded "Hylotyte Red") between the rubber seal and the tank pipe and also between the rubber seal and the plastic filler pipe.
I also used two Jubilee clips, one each side of the bulge in the neck.

Sounds like a great plan. Did you push the pipe all the way up to the tank or fit it on the ridges that are on there.
