Technical Fuel consumption

Hi Guys,

I just wandered roughly how far can you go on a full tank @ 35 litres in a Cinq? Planning on ding a road trip around Europe in a cpl of yrs time in my Cinq whilst my dad has the luxury of a pug 206cc, he says - Europe with the roof down, the only way

At one point I used to commute 100 miles a day in my cinq. Was all motorway and I would fill it up every 4 days so approx 400 miles. Generally driving between 70-80 too pretty damn good considering that gives an average of 51mpg.

was this a 899, 1108 or 1242

1108cc but later converted to a 1242cc which returned pretty much exactly the same.

The 1108 and 1242 actually tend to give better fuel consumption than the 899. Drive with the roof down and fuel consumption will take one hell of a hammering!

used to drive a 53reg sporting, 3up from north ayrshire to manchester on 3/4 tank....sat about 80mph.....so i think it works out at about 44mpg!!!!
