i know the rat tat banger look isnt popular here but i thought id show you mine almost finished.

and yes those air horns work!

and before i get moaned at about legality of the car this car has been inspected by 3 TRAFFIC POLICE officers all extra (apart from rear lights) are isolated on switches so the air horns work with the main horns but not without the switch down. front lights are isolated on a switch also which work with or without ignition (battery bus live)

number plates are still secured to the car by 2 screws and visible

Add some 80s 'new car technology' style badges, catalyst, fuel injection etc.

Maybe nitromors or brake fluid down one side, then cleaned and matt-lacquered over for that mistreated look... :chin:

Bit of a fire risk without line fuses from the battery, even if they are hidden they are too far from the power source.

Anyhow, The Rat look isnt really new...

Crikey, I didn't know people still used Yahoo.

I don't get the 'the entire bonnet is rusty, but the rest of the car is fine" thing. I saw a pale blue rat Golf a while back with faded paint and bits of rust added in the right places, bottom of the doors, around the arches and locks, etc, so it looked right.

all cables are high gauge low amp drawn cables im a quilified aircraft electrition or avionics as you will lol high amp system are fused behind the weather strip before entering the cabin hehe yes shes still to shiny but matt paint wont suit the tat/banger look thasts going on with the car lol

i know its not a "new style" anything but lol, but i have noticed alot of cinqs are either like new, moded to the style of halfords diy lol or just to samey...

this car gets more looks than a shiney new fast car in town and on the motorways which is what having a car thats modded is all about in my eyes

all be it if people think it looks $H*T but they still turned there heads lol!!!

the main thing i love about this car is that it makes people smile, alot of people are down in the dumps thanks to alot of different things going on and this is just a small amount of joy/laughter i bring lol!!!

anywhooo today i picked up a new sub for the grand price of £10 from fleway (ebay) 2x12' 800w Panasonic subs

Given your contacts with the policia, I'd suggest you replace the black and yellow tape with "crime scene, do not pass" tape.

Generally I don't like show cars!

The wiring needs tidying up, doncha think? Pretty battery, though.

as for the police tape that would be considered a bit naughty i asked PC Youff already and he said no as its stealing for the police lol!!!

and applesie i know its not everyones taste lol!!!

well i fitted my subs today but found out my little amp is to lame to run drive them lol but good news! i got a new amp in the post

i have also tidyed up the wiring today with green tie wraps and looks alot better ill post photos when this rain goes away

also no video of horns today as my neighbour is on nights and im not a chav lol
