Hiya I have a 1999 sei sx I bought a set of clear indicators for my local breakers last weekend but when I went to fit I found they fouled on the front bumper,I was just wondering what the difference was between the one I got the indicators from and my sei, are the bumpers the same or headlights different would it be a case of getting a new front end or just replacing a few bits to make them fit cheers

I'm guessing the car you took them off is alot newer.

MPI (year 2000 onwards) sei's have larger clear indicators.

if they are off a later car then they are also a different shape also

Can you modify to make them fit I.e headlights bumper ect without changing the slam panel wings ect

Headlights are the same, slam pannel is the same. The difference is purely in the bumper and indicators.

Mk1 has smaller orange indicators, and thye mk2 has the bigger clear units. Because of the size difference it is reflected on the bumper too, they are also different. Even between the MK1 and MK2 SX models.

If they are wrong ones just buy the correct ones, that is the cheapest option

Dont know what you are on about regarding this statement, you dont need a whole kit

Beginning to think things arent being read properly but just buy the indictators that are orange or from a car starting on an R plate - X plate or that is shaped like the one that is faulty then you will be ok

Sorry mate by kit I meant bodykit I.e front bumper and back bumper with some abarth side skirts i should have explained it better, I am reading the posts I'm just making sure 100% as cock ups are expensive when your planning on spending a few grand on a show car project.
