not inner boot its bearing, change shaft???

as most of you know im changing my inner boot (which im gonna do) got right under my bearing got lots of movement o i take it its not the boot??

new shaft?? what the forum recomend??

Usually the bearings go because the boot has failed. What makes you think either failed?

I think this is a wet shaft box we are talking about.

If the boot has failed and the box run without oil the bearings will be damaged.

I can't think of another reason for changing the boot.

moring, dont no what to do now, would it be best to buy a new shaft, solve all me problems in one, all the common faults wil be done after this part from the gearbox mount ha, bloody thing

Assuming 899, better to buy the boot assembly. A new shaft will cost you an arm and leg (and won't be fitted with the inner boot anyway!)

and won't be fitted with a diff with good bearings either.
