hi does any one know if all the 1.1 oil pumps are the same because the only place that i can get a oil pump from for cinquecento is the dealers and its 160 plus vat which is pretty expensive

ALL fire engine pumps are the same internally... externally some are not... if the car had air con or non electric PAS then the crank sensor mount position wont be the same.

early 16valve pumps will have the crank sensor position in the wrong place... newer 16valves the same but also the bottom of the pump is a different shape as it makes up part of the shorter sump.

but all pumps are the same capacity (sadly)

highly doubt you have killed one!

when its warm the oil pressure is very low under 5psi on idle i dont want to damage the engine or starve turbo

These are high volume/low pressure pumps. I can't think in psi but hot idle pressure is way under 1 bar in the workshop manual -- and was on Imola Blue's guage. Doesn't do the turbo any harm, although if you're using the oil to cool the turbo I'd think a fast idle for a minute or so would be better.
