Anyone know if its safe to use normal tcut on the fiat nero black? dont think its a metallic so theoretically should be ok to use normal tcut, have got a couple of scratches :)() which i want shot of, and also a bit of overspray from todays project :)

t cuts ok on that, but i think its d4ns or someone on here who is a valeter, they say use something else. i used the t-cut colour match on our old black punto it covered loads of scratches :)

If they are only light scratches, i recommend "Mer" (car polish). A bit of that neat rubbed in with a cotton rag and its gone. I use nothing else on my car and it does wonders everytime. Tis quite expensive but worth it IMO. Its not too harsh on the paintwork so takes some elbow grease - but gives a perfect gleam after...

Cor Daves memory is out of this world. lmao :p (y)

Mer is very good, but also very old and outdated in comparison with some of the new better stuff. Better stuff like the autogleam range. Use the Autogleam 'purple writing' polish. Cant remeber the name. Super resin polish or somin. But its purple writing. It is very good stuff and doesnt cause any of the problems that t cut can. You also dont have to do the whole car to guarantee it doesnt look stupid like t cut as well. Have a look for it, if you can find it let me know and i'll find out the proper name of it. lol. The best stuff for overspray is thinners. Put some on a cloth, bub it over it. Make sure you completely wipe it off though. Then just polish it up to build back up the paints protective layer. (y)

I'm a fan of Mer, but I've used T-Cut and found it to be good.
