How does a Lupo GTi compare to a Sei Sporting? I expect it to be thirstier and higher insurance and generally quicker but hows the general handling, comfort etc? Anyone know?

Nice cars, but my friend has spent quite a bit on his just keeping it running. New gearbox, replacement pedal box (apparently a silent recall), starter motor, drink oil quicker just as quickas the fiat 1.4 16v engines, and apparently it is slowly developing a fault with the sensors.
Maybe just a dud he bought but i've got to be honest, they are nice cars despite going by some of his history.
EDIT: Forgot to mention they get a bit tappy on the top end, doesn't matter what you do it always comes back. One of those things you just have to live with .
