I spoke too soon when i said i havent had any probs really, lol. Im getting a horrible Noise from what sounds to be the offside front wheel, but may be wrong. It only happens when im going over 70 the take my foot off the accelerator and let it decelerate. I thought at first it was due to my tracking. Although when i got it done it was out, but its still doing it. I thought maybe a wheels bearing, but that would do it at all speeds and get louder when i accelerate wouldnt it? Maybe an engine mount? The only other thing i could thing of is that the wheel isnt on right, but that would make the car pull and it doesnt even slightly? Any ideas.

If it's more noticable when you decelerate then it could be a mount that's gone. Although why would it only do it at speed ??!! :\ Hmmm

Ive never noticed it at lower speeds than bout 65. Its wierd? The noise it makes is more of a Bang Band Bang.... Like the wheel is on wonky. So therefore i suppose it cant be the engine mount.

It seems to be worse if i decelrate on a hill (down mainly) if that helps?

get the wheel off, tighten all the bolts on the suspension, then stick the wheel back on, make sure u got all the bolts tight on that as well.... rules out wheel bein on wonkey or bolts.

i got no idea bout engine mounts.

Im gonna try that 2moro night when i finish college. I want to get it sorted by sat when i get my new wheels, just incase. lol

This could be the lower ball joint, You know the one on the wishbone. I had one that went knock knock every time i put my foot on the throttle. Other than that it may be the wishbone bushes. Deceleration puts a lot of force on the suspension components. Try decelerating from lower speeds in a lower gear but with high revs, ie instead of doing 80 in top do it at 60 in 3rd or 35 to 40 in 2nd.

Even if im racing i can only be bothered to change to 5th at 70.

You'd be surprised the abuse you can give a cinq!!!!!! You'd get so much more from it!! But its your car and i respect your decision not to thrash it.
I'd like to point out that i don't drive like that all the time!!
It does 95 in 4th (well indicated anyways)

2nd to 45 ... 3rd to 65 ... 4th to 75... 5th onwards (when wanting to go speedie)
