Find and remove the alarm fuse until you can get more info on the alarm.

thanks will the fuse for the alarm be in the main fuse box or in a seperate one?

thanks

scott

You'll probably have to trace the wires back because of it being aftermarket it could be anywhere. I'd expect an in line fuse to be there or for it to share a fuse with something else

It all depends on who installed the alarm and how sensible they were thinking.

If the alarm can be switched off by simply removing a fuse, then if they were thinking straight, the fuse will be well hidden.

I would be tempted to download the wiring diagram and remove all the alarm wiring and reinstate the original, unless you can quickly get a handle on how its been wired.

Cheers
