Right new clutch cable in ....

Can Select 2,3,4,5,Reverse

Cannot Select 1st

2,4 Crunch when engaged

Side note: Rocker cover gasket changed is that a silly design or what?

Adjust clutch cable accordingly? (loosen nut at end of clutch cable)

Nope.

Probably either badly fitted, poorly maintained or more likely both.

Meant the new one rally doesnt fit the gap right... filled it with sealent to make sure anyway....

Pirus cable seems to be adjusted fine every other gear engages perfectly.... I attempted to ram it into gear whilst the cable was broken (Silly i know)

Possible damage?

Side note : do you fancy a meet at some point this week?

Then the cover is twisted, hence badly fitted and poorly maintained.
