hi there , with gsr been impossible to get ahold of, what is truely the next best induction kit.
i am changing the exhaust, dont know weather to change back box and mid section or just back box. which?
re-map will be done a.s.a.p
any reccomendations on throttle bodies?

focus induction kit are good. or the BMC Carbon dynamic airbox. i wouldnt bother with the centre section unless it has a middle silencer.

asin induction kits for the focus or is that just the name? thanks for that. BMC arent an induction are they? therefore no gains is there. correct me though please. im new to all this.
what will a middle silencer do? back box only then?

There was a 38mm TB with slightly ported inlet on ebay last time i looked. Probably still there. Wait until you've fitted all your parts and then get a remap done.

BMC do panel filters, which isn't induction, but they also do the CDA (Carbon Dynamic Airbox) which is. The focus kit is basically a kit for a focus, but they fit our cars perfectly fine and do just as good a job. The other option of course is to go to the likes of viper performance and buy all the separate pieces and built it yourself

the BMC CDA is an induction kit. also if you have a middle silencer it will restrict the flow a little bit. if you dont then a pipe is a pipe at the end of the day.

what car is the TB from? will the TB make any difference?

all the TB and GSR are SPI. will they fit my MPI seicento?
dont want to buy something that wont fit.

aaaah well MPI changes things a little. the GSR should still squeeze on i think. youll see more of an effect after remap. as the engine wont be running it perfectly before as it dosent really know what to do with the added power

o.k might sneek a bid on it. the BMC CDA website doesnt have seicento at all. anywhere you know that sell them for the mpi seicento. they look awesome. i read a thread on a seicento and he fit one it looked awesome

Last time i looked there was a bmc cda in the for sale section on here.£50 if i remember correctly,lovely looking thing.

Focus was pretty close to GSR on the dyno -- MPI GSR kits are out of production (and the molds chopped up).
