Hi, I came out this morning to my L Reg 899cc Cinq and noticed an icicle hanging from my front bumper. I investigated it further and there is water slowly dripping from beneath my washer bottle. There seems to be two terminals on the bottom of the bottle.

It very hard to get to so I may just leave it.

Has anybody else had this problem and what could it be.

I have had the car 6months and never noticed it before. I thinks its only started last couple of days.

Is it worth fixing?

Is it any easy job to do yourself?? Also what is the cost for the new bit of pipe?

if you have small arms, it's a quick job without taking anything off. Otherwise, join Clubcento and check the "How To" guide on the site;)

im so glad someone posted this, as i've had 2 sportings which have both had the same problem. takes about a week for all the water to drain, so have never worried too much about it. as long as it gets me through an mot.
im more worried about the head gasket going, and the sound of loose change rattling round in the engine. 1242 on the way... cheers geezers.

Nah...wont be a problem - my 1242cc's been rattly since day 1 because I didnt put the head together correctly ...Its now done 3000miles over 6 months, and its gonna get a new head within the next two weeks..

Check oil, oil pressure and coolant, and all should be good!
