seicento won,t rev past 3000rpm

does it sound lean as it gets to 3k? could be the injector sticking maybe. or even blocked fuel filter or pump on its way

Re: seicento won,t rev past 3000rpm

Hi

When you turn on the ignition does the fault light comeon and then go off.

If the ECU is unhappy it will rev limit the auto to 3000 rpm, but it should also turn the light on as well.

no lights on when driving or when you rev it up,it only happens when the engine is hot, when cold revs and runs fine

If it doesn't come on then suspect a dead bulb.

Thanks
