Ok this problem has happened now more than once in the past couple of days.

Once started the car idles fine and left it to run warm for a minute before reversing off my drive onto the road. I put it into first and drove off, i must not of had enough revs as the engine management cut in with a solid amber engine light and code error. The second time this has happened, after a couple of minutes of trying to start it i left it alone and the code light went away and allowed me to start it fine leaving only the solid amber engine light. I ran my DTC checker and three faults flagged.

P1325 - Unknown
P0352- Coil Pack B Failure
U1600 - Ignition Earth Failure?

Cleared the codes and all is fine. Im wondering as it only happens when it is cold that everything is tight and doesnt like sudden revs dropping. It has only happen when ive taken my foot off the accelerator or when i dont apply enough when pulling off.

Hi

I'd replace both coilpacks
And clean earth bonding points and battery connectors back to silver metal and copperslip grease and remake.
Check alternator lead and output as well

OT - just seen your advert in your signiture

Abarth alloys come in 14'' not 13'' so if you are wanting 13'' youll have to get something else

Hi checked ECU after i found that thread a couple of months ago, thats ok.

Also the engine only does it when it is stone cold, left over night stone cold. After that it is fine, after it did it this morning i drove it to uni and left it for 3 hours in the outside car park and came to drive it at lunch and it was fine. The ECU scanner i have outlined Coil Pack A and B Failure aswell as Ignition coding error and ignition earth error. This could have been as a result of trying to start it over and over again. The scanner is finding no faults at all so am just wondering whether it doesnt like rev changes when the engine is cold or damp! That is the only time it has done it, it had a new battery over winter as mine died one day.

Also i realise they are 14s just cant remember how to change my sig ;)

Ok cheers for that will do it in a minute.

Also started and left it to run for 5 minutes this morning before setting off. No problems at all and let the revs drop, dumped and slipped the clutch aswell as stallingit and absolutely no problems. Must be when it stone cold.

That would suggest a coil pack, waming the car up before you drive is not recommended..

Hi Ming

I think they discovered it increased engine wear and it cerrtainly wastes fuel, wear trews rather then kilt.
