Alright guys, i have lost a nut and bolt for the passenger side gearbox mount (its the front mount on the gearbox and has 1 vertical nut and bolt)on my Cinq Sporting, ive looked throughout my nut and bolt collection and i cant find anything suitable to fit, so if any of you are breaking a Cinq Sporting and you have this nut and bolt, let me know ASAP!

Cheers

Steve

I think its a 8.8 class High Tensile Bolt. Either M8 or M10 size (Eper lists both M8 and M10 for different parts of the mount so I dunno!)

Its a long story, the shortened version is the previous owner had lost the screw and to get me back home i had to put a metal screw in its place which means that the thread in the pipe is knackered!

So, should i bother trying to get another pipe and bleed screw or should i put a straight through pipe in its place? Would there be any problems if i ran it without the standard pipe?

Regarding the bolt for the mount, Fiat didnt know either LOL! I was looking at ePER and it doesnt identify that there is a bolt and nut needed LOL! So, im going back there tomorrow armed with the mount lol!

I did the same thing, got the junction from an 899 Cinq, the same bit and replaced it, had to hacksaw off the clips though cos they were pressed on.

I know of 2 889 Cinq in scrapyards near me so il have a look if they've still got them, thanks liam for that!

I went back to fiat today as the other day they couldnt see it on the parts cd so they wanted to see the mount itself. They told me that it was x2 M*8 x 28 bolts, so i went to my local machinsists and found out they were in actual fact M10 bolts. So, fiat dont have a clue and it doesnt show the bolts on the parts cd lol. All sorted now though as i got the bolts of the machinists!
