Right! heres goes nothing, cant seem to get my head round how the forum works, but my question involves this old link.
If I try and get a MK1 Punto 60 throttle body from ebay or a scrapper, does anyone know if that is the only bigger throttle body that is a straght swap for the Cinq?
I currently (allegedly!) have a UAD 1242 Punto engine but with what I believe is still the original throttle body, anyone got waht I need or good advice I`d appreciate it.
Cheers

its 2 allen bolts on the top of the TB iirc 6mm i think and the TB comes off, takes about 3mins 21secs to remove if your slow about it lol, then measure the back side and see what the diamiter is,
if its a p60 motor it should be 32mm
cinq/sei is 28mm (iirc)

there is a bigger one i found once and its on a peugeot 205 1.4 8v which is the same TB but is a 36mm one direct swap onto the cinq inlet but the adptor needs a little modifying as the hole is too small and causes turbulance and power lose lol

Is it possible and as straight forward to get a 38mm tb and have a bigger butterfly made up and the tb ground out to 40mm

Which lump you running in the Cinq now? SPI or MPI?
Kritip did a guide about MPI bigger TB's
-using the Punto 1.2 16v, 40mm TB (42mm butterfly), direct replacement & no need to mess around apart from making a small mounting plate as the holes won't line up.

Still running spi at the moment buddy thinking of sticking with the 8v 1242 for the moment, I've given tricker an email and ill repost here IF I get a reply :)
