has anyone put a turbo on a engine and a supercharger like a TSI engine has and if so what are the results

so its not possible or easy to do wouldnt it be better/faster then a 1.2 turbo

That's irrelevant: there's (at least) one 1.2 8v turbo out there that simply can't get the 170bhp it knocks out on the tarmac.

It is extraordinarily difficult to do: the A Graham Bell Forced Induction book details the plumbing required (and you've management on top of that) and the rather extreme re-engineering Abarth did.

The 1.4 16v turbo engine (Punto and 500 Abarth, Mito 155) will produce over 200 bhp (180+ with factory reliability) -- to get more out of a Cento you really have to put the engine in the back.

not easy to do and wont be any faster then a turbo... might even be slower.
superchargers give boost at lower rpms then turbos. and that is not what you need.

you want more power at higher RPM (which is where superchargers are not so good/get disconnected as far as I know)

The best/cheapest/fastest/most reliable way to have a cento that will eat pretty much any modern hot hatch and still be useable is a n/a 1.4 16valve.

you will have at least 100hp and around 150hp per ton.

i love the idea but i'm with these guys as there just is no room for anything in these engine bays if you want a tsi cinq buy a rear end smashed tsi polo and the transfer the lot into the back of the cinq lol and then set about making it rear drive and getting as much out of the engine as poss or do as craig says and 1.4 16v it maybe with a couple of tweaks for a few extra ponies

that would be adamantium :)
