does it have A/C?

It doesn't, BUT, interestingly enough, while cleaning the engine bay, I spotted some pipes and hoses that are NOT on my Cinq Sporting, and now I'm baffled!

Anybody know what these are, as they are nowhere to be seen on the Cinq Sporting

If it doesnt have A/C then it isnt a suite model as this model was the only sei with A/C as standard

LOL. This just gets funnier
I dunno. I can't figure out the damn spec of this car
The reason I said it was a Suite, is the Version code on the plate is 187AXB1A 01P and according to the Seicento handbook that was in the car, that particular version is a Suite???

ive seen those pipes before just fuel lines and a non return valve to the brake servo

and as said before could be the release bearing, see it a few times on 8v puntos where the release bearing wears into and sticks onto the diaphragm spring

Oh right. Then that explains them
I just couldn't understand why they weren't on the Cinq Sporting but they are on this
By the way, they seem to come across and enter the passenger wing in the hole behind the headlight

Aha. Finally getting somewhere now :)
I was in no doubt that it's an SPI anyway, but I'm just baffled as to what actual model it is.

It appears to be an S, but the plate points to it being a Suite.
I thought all the S cars had 899 engines fitted, but the plate above clearly shows it has the 1100 SPI engine if you look at the engine code, but if you look at the Body Version code, it seems to be a Suite

Only thing I can think of is the spec was different here in Ireland

a 10 second search showed this in the FAQ

prices from new were roughly
sporting £6,835
Michael Schumacher Sporting £7,939
sx £6,809
sx £6,252 (1.1l engine)
s £6,510
s £5,980 (1.1l engine)
citymatic £7,109
Mia £5,985
Mia £5,534 (1.1l engine)
2 tone £6,238
active £6,085
active sport £6,385
suite £7,019
sound £6,484

you can see an "s" listed there with a 1.1 engine and is £600 cheaper then the 899 so i dont see people paying more for less,

899 was done from 1997-2000 in seicento's

Very odd. I checked the same FAQ actually, but I just looked at the 3 lines right before what you posted there

on release there were 3 models to choose from:
The S and SX use the 899cc overhead valve engine
The sporting uses the 1108cc overheadcam engine.

your door handles quite a simple fix i had this problem when i got mine i took the door panels of slowly took of the white waterproofing so i could reuse it and used motor oil on the linkages inside i used motor oil rather than wd40 cuz i dident want it to just dry up thn lifted the hadle and put it bak down a few times s the oil could work frew and just did that over and oover again and applied more oil if i needed to mines worked fine for months now:)

Cheers Andy
Got the door sorted in a few minutes by following your advice. It's working fine now ;)

i think there was a tiny amount of s and sx models fitted with 1108 spi just before they all went 1108 mpi

as for the price? not really a surprise it's cheaper, they were run out models of that spec, 899 was defunct anyway and no longer on sale and the sei about to get a facelift, so they got a price cut across the range.
