ok, im fitting a new manifold tomorrow (or tonight if i can be bothered), janspeed manifold and decat heh, thanks for ghost!.. anyway

whats the best way to seperate sections of the exhaust if theyre pretty well stuck together from rust and crap over the years?

is there any kind of tool that can be used to seperate them or is it generaly just the usual, pulling and twisting etc. to get it off? there must be an easier way????

I split parts of my 899cc's system using a hacksaw, cold chisel, mk1 adjusting tool, brute force+ignorance, WD40\Plusgas...

It needs imagination, determination and true grit to succeed at times!!

Best Option is to heat it up with a blowtorch just a couple of minutes. The differential expansion helps to break the seal.

heh.. im ok to get it done.. i was just wondering if there was an easier way that i didnt know about. seems there isnt
