Re: Wheel nuts and spacers

www.trackstore.co.uk is where i got mine.

better still

this is the part number for the bolts u need = sb23: Wheel bolt 12mm x 1.25 fixed 60 40mm long 19hex £1.30 each

and the one for the spacers = SP13: 6mm universal PCD spacer - 4 hole £3.50 each

do u think this should b made a sticky? i think i have posted this about 10 times this month!!!

Re: Wheel nuts and spacers

cheers mase... i really think it should be a sticky..

Re: Wheel nuts and spacers

If there is going to be a sticky on this then these should be included as they are a much much better quality spacer which are car specific and hub eccentric meaning that the wheel lines up to them and they do not fall off when you remove the wheel.

they can also do anything up to 30mm spacers (which I have for my 60mm offset wheels) all the way down to 3mm. When using this site remember that the spacers are listed as per axle not per wheel, so if its says 10mm spacers thats 2*5 mm spacers.

I also think it should be renamed "Wheels, nuts, spacers and off-set" because how many times to people ask about that.

So Cinquecento Sporting off-set is 30.5mm as its stamped on the wheel rim.

and look at how much they cost!!!

plus the cinq hubs have those little bits that stick out that help u guide the wheel on. so wat u do is take the smaller ones off the front, line the holes up, drill the same hole in all four spacers, then when u stick the spacer on u can hold it against the hub the same way the small 2.5cm spacers that are on the front wheels on the cinq!!!(y)

well its true you pay for quality... but on a car thats not worth more than 1K ... is it worth it? ask David Ginola...

Anyone know the method of finding out an Offset off a set of wheels alrdy on the car, i can find out the size of them from the back of the wheel but cannot see if it says the offset, size is 6jx14, Wheels are the fox ones in my sig,

It would be helpfull for the ones i wish to order to know the offset of these wheels so then i can have it the same on the new ones and they will fit the same.

This could also benifit other people who buy there car with aftermarket wheels and wish to find out their offset to.

I thought that the Offset was stamped on the wheels as well?

When I fitted mine I did it the long way of putting the wheels on then working how far out they needed to come..... :)

Edit: My dad worked out better not steal the credit ;)

But Aaron, i dont know the backspace otherwise i would of done that, I got under the car again, in the rain :( and got everything on the rear of the wheel

Each is on each spoke
Fox 2b 14OH
6Jx14 H2
Made in italy (dont need that lol)
Some weird table diagram which is to small to read

Brian DJBucho might know wat it means he has the same wheels.

You do know the backspace, take the wheel off and measure the back of the face plate (the bit that bolts to the hub) to the edge of the wheel and subtract half the overall width of the wheel which you know as you've put it down as 6J which is 6inches.

The diagram on that site shows this.

just wanted to add to this seeing as it was started because of someone fitting Punto GT wheels, I have Punto wheels and they are stamped with an off-set of 45.5 therefore to fit to a Cinq you need 15mm spacers, not 6 that was previously quoted in this thread.

I would always check the wheel if its an OE wheel as they normally have the off-set width diameter stamped on them.

just for those who dont figure it out... hehe the "length" is the length of the straight bit of the bolt.

fiat bolts (on the cento at least) look like this [>---- so on 40mm long bolts its the distance from the bottom of the collar to the end of the bolt :D
