managed to find one for £50 on ebay.

it come and the ecu was completely different.

car i have is a 1108cc mpi seicento S 2001

the ecu i brought from ebay is froma 53plate sporting

ecu in the car is a 59F

ecu that come from ebay is a 4AF

tried everywhere in leicester and even rang up savo group but no joy they all say the same thing they never seen that ecu on the sei before?

ive been looking on the net and can find that the 1.1 panda active has the same ecu.

all i need is the loom connectors or just the engine loom, anyone got one in scrappy near them? even better if they got a 2003 seicento in

thanks

Fiat can cut a key from their data base and then you can get it programed by reddy4bed.
I think theres someone in Leicester who can do it.

Hi Gazza, emailed you earlier. Its just not worth trying to put the different type ecu into the car.
Dont know that doner car type, but genarally that older ecu used the code1 type keys. The setup you have is code2 type keys ie with no master key.
Have a look at the new keys you have and check whether there is a number "2" stamped on them, near to the RF logo, missing number "2" means its a type 1, and cannot be used with your car.
The car should have a body computer behind the fusebox which contains the codes, but its not straightforward to load a new key into it. Its either order a replacement from Fiat or change everything over IAW 59F,body computer, and keys.
I have ordered a bit of kit which allows used or new keys to be loaded directly into the body computer, which I should be able to use in the future.

Tony.
