Took the 600M 16v to Cadwell Park yesterday - great track, even if it is in the middle of nowhere!

Was able to go along as a guest of the marshals club. The trackday had been given to them by Jonathan Palmer and was open to marshals and guests only.

Some interesting stuff there - a few MX5 racecars, a couple of MG's and some odd trackday tools such as a VW Sharan

Very friendly bunch and a really relaxed day - 'cos it was a freebie nobody felt they had to get their monies worth so the driving standard was very high.

Nice one Andy! I remember going around there a few years back with Clubcento, good fun even behind the pace car.

It's a nice little place - just a shame it's so far away.

Best stats of the day were a top speed of 98mph and max rpm of 8645!!! It was hitting 90mph easily on the straights so it would be interesting to see what it would do at somewhere like Donnington.

Unfortunately I hadn't rewound the tape before starting out :bang: so only got 3/4 lap from in-car. That was the start of my second session and I was just getting comfortable throwing it about - even caught the other 600M there and that went out while I was still putting my harness on

Anyway, will be looking at doing another day as soon as possible probably Donnington, Silverstone or Brands.

Yeah, could do with a bit more torque to accelerate up the hill - you have to change up just as you bottom out - should have kept in in 4th i guess.
