Hey im wondering if anyone could shed light on this issue im confusing myself with

is it possible to use the selectors off a brava on a cinq sporting gearbox even thow on the brava where the cable connects is above the centre of the shaft and on the cinq is below (picures below)

as im getting confused if i used the brava using i could have 1st where 2nd is reverse where 5th is etc:confused:

the reason im asking is that the brava has the extra lug in the original casting for the hydraulic clutch

if not then i could with alot of pain change the cinq internals over into the casing of the brava for the extra lug

id just swap the insides around, but its stange cos i know that the mk1 punto 55 bits i have fit the centos selector. just need to change the leaver to the bell housing (obviously)

yup only thing left to do over then the car  is mount this, do the solid pipe and tidy up the bulkhead a bit

and the lever has already been changed over to about right but il probably have to change it to get it right when its in the car

A seicento has the same selector as the Bravo looking at the pics. You could try fitting a complete gearstick and cables off a seicento to mate with the selector. Probably need the gearbox cable brackets too.

victory is mine!

got one stripped down :slayer: hammering it out didnt work got my thumb a good one thow

there is a small piece of rolled metal thats used as a pin in the big block in the centre it can be hammered out but really it needs to be pulled out and behind one of the plastic bushes is a mother of all e-clips then its simply pull then turn the shaft to remove it

only to strip the other then re assemble :slayer:
