Hi,

I took the cd player from my MG to stick into my Seicento, but noticed that the power connectors are different. The electrical Cable for the seicento seems to be a lot bigger, almost double of what the one is like in my MG. Is there an adapter I could buy or would you ideally need to see pics?

The CD player fits in perfect, just the cabling seems to be different.

Thanks

will do, once i get home tonight I'll take some. The CD player is the standard one from an MGZR 105. Just looking to replace the standard tape player in my seicento.

Pics tonight :)

all we need to see is a pic of the plugs mate

but if its a stock mg radio then chances are you will have to do a plug chop and a re-wire as there may not be a direct fit adaptor lead available, but cant really say 100% untill we see the pic of the sei plug and the radio plug

Make sure the yellow and red go to the right places when fitting.

Cheers

Might as well be talking Japanese to me ;-) Don't have a clue about wirings, but will figure it out if you guide me :)

Once I have the pics, we can take it from there. BTW - Both are Kenwood (The CD player and tape player).

Cheers

Should be OK then, but head units have two live feeds. One permanent to keep the settings, one that should be ignition switched to keep the amp out of the picture until the ignition is on.

If they get 'ersfurtit', they can lead to the battery going flat.

Hi,

Look inside my MG DASH or FIAT Dash? Is there an adapter available that would allow me to connect the CD Player from the MG to the FIAT?

Sorr wasnt sure what you meant by your last message :)

The donor car (the one that the CD has come out off) may have another connector about 3 inches from the one in your picture, so have a look in the aperture.

If not, get the connector as suggested.

Cheers

Ahh got you now! cheers, will check tonight.

Thanks
