As in the title my gauges in the dash don't work.
Only the speedmeter but this is done by a metal wire.

I have replaced my engine with a 1.2 MPI one and solderd the injector to the orginal engine loom.
Also I removed and alarm, not compleetly just the two wires for ignition.
And now the gauges don't work anymore.

Tha strange thing is.
When I take a left corner the suddenly work.
The temp gage in the right corner gives a temp of about 150 Degrees.
I think this is wrong as the fan turns on and off when it's running stationairy.
I did'nt drive a long distance, about 500 yards.

All the fuses are working.
I don't know about the big black ones but how can you check if they are broken?

As far as I know only the two cabels to fire the engine ran through the alarm but it could be more.

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?
Regarding the failing enige when turning left and the dashboard gauges that don't work.

Yep, all the ground wires are bolted to the chassis.
I had taken out my dash a while ago and now I'm not sure what plug go's where.
It has one white plug on the left side (steering is also in the left).
On the right side it has two plugs.
A white and a Red one.
I put the red plug on the lowest connector and the White one on the top connector.
Is this the right way?

Well I fixed it.
The dashboard problem was my own fault.
I swithed the two plugs on the right side and now it works fine.
Also the stopping of the engine is fixed.
The fuel line was leak. So I replaced it with a new elbow piece from an Ford Mondeo;)
