http://www.alloywheelworld.co.uk/pr...wers-front-60mm-rear-60mm-product-code-269911thats a no. i dont know of anywhere still doing drops that low. -50 is probably as low as you can get from a sporting now.
who said i had a sporting, lol its a 899cc.thats not for a sporting... do you have a sx??? if so venom motorsport do fk -70mm front and -50mm rears.
which is -50 and -30 for a sporting. that pic above id say is only lowered about 40 mm
who said i had a sporting, lol its a 899cc.
thanks for the info much appreciated
ok got ya, thank you for your helpremember though with a drop of that difference you will really want to get new shocks as yo NEED the stiffer rebound on them and your standards will wear out very quickly. youll also need to cut the bump stops down.
hi, anyone know any shops who sell lowering kits 60mm + drop but dont wana go any more than 100mm drop, its just to low, however good it looks, lol
didnt think it was legal, but how do i do that my standard springs wind down an are flat at top an bottom so cutting them would mean they sit funny, please explain thankswhy not just cut and pudle weld your lowering springs ?? or standard ones ??

dont think i'll go down that road lol cheers anywaywell i did it on my car and the springs are standard i just cut a coil at a time with an angle grinder untill i got the ride hight i wanted but ull have to get some dampers to aquire this otherwise your springs ull fall out over bumps and the mot test bay floor lol, you have to cut them form one end only tho and i didnt bother with the flats on the top mine sit just fine tbh and theres not another cinq around wear i live as low ow anmd if you cant get the right dampers just cut and weld your originalls mate what i did cuz my car is just too low and would cost lots for new dampers lol but the front ones i did aswell there more tricky you have to bye them or they wont be string enuf
you can try it if ya want but make sure you weld up the end of the cut or theyll shatter lol
mines a 94 cing none sporting with all in matt black and white bonnet and wheels soon and filler cap induction filter and 1.2 ecu from a fiat punto but iv got the wiring loom off it lol starit through no cat and cherry bomb rear box centre exit with steel weels 100mm drop all round
lol kwl kwl i mean its free lol and if you do it right then its safe toodont think i'll go down that road lol cheers anyway
This was -30mm on a sporting (with 14" wheels) which would be -50 on a 899
anything more is just impractical for the pothole strewn, speed bump world we live in today
My advice, don't go there -- anything more than -60 on an 899 will destroy the handling (and CV joints, suspension and exhaust).
