Hi Guys,

replacing the clutch cable tomorrow on my 99 Seicento Sporting but just want to check if the removal of what seems like the whole dash is necessary as it suggests on the manual disc??

If you can let me know of an easier way that would be great?!?!

Not necessary.

Just removed the passengers seat (4 bolts) and lie on your back in the footwell.
The tricky thing is removing the split pin.

Half hour max.....20mins to remove the split pin

It's easy but not (if you get what I mean), and childrens hands (as advised by many on here) is a great help.

I just remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the metal cover and moved the cover out of the way to reveal the pin. Once you get that cover out of the way life is so much easier, and pliers are your friends. Oh and magnetic screw driver too.

Thanks

Great stuff - thanks for the tip - looks like the niece is earning some pocket money tomorrow!!

Cheers guys. (y)
