Start at the wheel furthest away from the master cylinder up to the closest.

If your assuming I haven't been pumping the pedal you are very wrong :D.

Had to re-fill the whole system due to changing all the lines. It's all done now however, and have a very nice soft and plush brake pedal. Hasn't got as much travel as it did before so the new lines and braided ends are doing their job already.

nyway back to my scuttle pannel problem, i've scraped all the crud back to bar metal to reveal it is indeed cracked in multiple places and around the spindle for the wiper has been rusted away nicely.

I still can't get the top nut off to take that part of the unit off to see if i'll need it cutting out and a new patch welding in (I ****ing hope not).

Thanks

Hey Todger

This windscreen scuttle stress cracks thing happenned to my car, i think it was due to the worn drivers side wiper linkage. I did make a plate up and rivited it on - but it looked like a badgers arse and then the linkage gave up completely.

So i just fitted an uno wiper motor.. and filled the hole :)

this is how bad it got! right under the seal - so i didnt bother getting it welded...

I'm getting my bodyshop chap to have a look at it next week and get it all done along with everything else aswell. He's going to love me in the summerbut atleast it will look like how I want her to look.

This weekend is the moment of truth. You will either be seeing a very large picture oriented thread appear or a big **** everything rant :D.

Thanks
