Can anyone please help me out. My 2001 model Fiat Seicento 1100 (1108, I guess)(not the Sporting) blew his cylinder head gasket. I need the torque settings for the cylinder head and cam shaft real urgently. Can anyone please help me out.

I've contacted the local Fiat dealers (in SA) and they do not hand out info like that. Also, I wanted to buy a new Auto Data Digest, but the settings are not in there. Instead there is just a little x.

Can anyone please help me with the torque settings for the cam shaft and the cylinder head. :(

Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks, do you perhaps know the order in which I have to torque the cylinder head bolts ? Also how many stages I should torque the bolts in ?

dave, whats all this lbs/ft rubbish???? Everyone knows that torque is measured in Nm!;)!;)!;)

Isn't lbs/ft that REALLY old measurement used by old people :p

Only kidding Dave ;)

dave, thanks for your help with the torque settings. I'm going to put it all together this weekend. If I'm not mistaken you can convert pounds-force feet to newton meters by multiplying with 1.356 , which means that it is 29.832 N.m. of torque ?
